LAKE ACTIVITIES

Southern Wakes United Water Ski Show Team combines the young and young-at-heart and includes our lakes, Lauderdale Lake and Elkhorn Lake. It gives members an opportunity to join a non-profit water-skiing organization.   The show site on Whitewater Lake is on the water in front of Scenic Ridge Campground. The southern tip of Whitewater Lake is home to Natureland Park. The park spans 122 acres with 4 hiking trails and features port-a-potties, picnic tables, charcoal grills, and a pavilion. The park provides views of Whitewater Lake and is home to abundant wildlife. 

The Kettle Moraine State Forest - Southern Unit's Whitewater Lake Recreation Area lies between Rice & Whitewater Lake. The recreation area offers a beach, public boat launch, nature trails, fishing piers, picnic areas, charcoal grills, playground, and a shelter.

The Ice Age National Scenic Trail is a thousand-mile trail spanning across Wisconsin. The Whitewater section is made up of the 1.6-mile Clover Valley Segment, the 4.6-mile Whitewater Lake Segment, the 7-mile Blackhawk Segment, and the 7.1-mile Blue Spring Lake Segment.
